The Lost Ghost of Broad Hinton, Wiltshire

The Lost Ghost of Broad Hinton, Wiltshire

There used to be a very active  ghost at the Crown Inn at Broad Hinton in Wiltshire. It is a welcoming pub with a good selection of hearty meals that stands in the centre of this village. This particular phantom was never seen, but delighted in nudging people as they drank, or tapping them from behind as they walked across the bar. The landlord in 1979 was Terry Kelley, who was at first sceptical but later became convinced of the reality of the “Phantom Nudger” when he himself was nudged when nobody was within sight. The current landlord knows nothing of the ghost and it does not seem to have been reported for some 20 years.
